The purpose of this announcement is to provide you with information regarding the processing of your personal data by Ovida Sp. z o.o. with headquarters in 44-100 Gliwice, ul. Dojazdowa 54, acting in the scope described below as the administrator of your personal data (hereinafter "Administrator", "OVIDA") in a simple, concise and transparent manner.

Purposes, scope and legal grounds for processing your personal data:

OVIDA processes personal data primarily in order to perform the contract between you and OVIDA, provide services to you or take steps necessary to conclude a contract or start providing services (pursuant to Article 6 (1) (b) of the GDPR).

In addition, OVIDA may also process your personal data in order to fulfill its legal obligations as the Administrator (Article 6 (1) (c) of the GDPR). Sometimes OVIDA processes your data for purposes based on the legitimate interest of the administrator (Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR). In other cases, the basis for processing is your consent (Article 6 (1) (a) of the GDPR).

The purposes for which OVIDA may process data due to legitimate interests are:

  • proper performance of contracts with the Company's contractors, including the provision of services in order to perform them, settlement of contracts with contractors,
  • conducting possible debt collection activities and conducting court and administrative proceedings,
  • ensuring security on the premises of the Administrator.

Providing your personal data is necessary for the proper performance of the contract, conclusion and provision of services for you. For the purposes of legal obligations, the collection of data by OVIDA is a statutory requirement. OVIDA processes the personal data collected from you only to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes listed here. You may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the data processing processes that were made on its basis until its withdrawal.

Recipients of personal data:

In the course of the normal course of business, OVIDA may transfer your personal data to external recipients (in compliance with all requirements to ensure their security under the provisions on the protection of personal data), when it turns out to be necessary in business processes, ensuring high-quality services, as well as meeting the obligations of on OVIDA legal obligations.
The above includes the following categories of data recipients:

  • service providers supplying OVIDA with technical and organizational solutions enabling the efficient operation and management of OVIDA (in particular, ICT service providers, entities dealing with the security of the facility located at the Company's headquarters, courier and postal companies);
  • contractors of the Company to whom your data may be transferred for the purposes of the implementation of concluded contracts, for identification and contact purposes;
  • providers of legal, advisory, consulting, auditing, tax, accounting and supporting OVIDA services in pursuing due claims (in particular law firms, debt collection companies).

Data processing time:

Your data is processed for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this information above, i.e. for the duration of the contract between OVIDA and you / the provision of services, and after its expiry / termination of the provision of services for the period required by law or necessary to implement the legitimate interests of the administrator .

Data transfer processes outside the EEA or to international organizations:

Your data will not be transferred to entities based outside the European Economic Area.

Your rights are:

In connection with the protection of your personal data, you have a number of rights under the provisions of the GDPR. Belong to them:
  • The right to rectify data if it turns out that the processed data is incorrect;
  • The right to access your data, including obtaining a copy of it and information on processing processes;
  • The right to request the deletion of personal data in the cases specified in the provisions of the GDPR;
  • The right to request restriction of data processing;
  • The right to data portability which you have provided to ovida;
  • The right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (the President of the Personal Data Protection Office) if it is found that the processing of personal data by ovida violates the law.
